Top Ten Tuesday: Authors I’m Dying to Meet

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted over at The Broke and The Bookish and this week’s theme is:

March 28: Top Ten Authors I’m Dying To Meet

1. J. K. RowlingObviously. No real explanation needed. My literary queen! I think I would actually fall over on the spot if I ever met J.K. Rowling!
2. CJ Skuse

After reading Sweetpea, I’m a little afraid of CK Skuse, but she’s also downright hilarious and seems like someone you’d love to be friends with!

3. Melissa Brayden

She writes romances so perfectly I’d just love to meet her and learn more about her inspiration!

4. Rick Riordan

I’m an absolute sucker for Greek mythology and I love Riordan’s take on it in the Percy Jackson books.

5. Seriously, pretty much any author of books I’ve read and loved. I don’t know how I’m supposed to pick!

6. J.K. Rowling

  1. I hope you meet all the authors on your TTT list this week. The cool thing is that I made a TTT post a couple of years ago of all the authors I wanted to meet in person some day and I ended up meeting three of them in person within a year!! I’m hoping to meet the rest of the authors on my TTT list some point in time!

This week I choose to focus on the eleven authors I can’t believe I’ve al ready met! Here’s a link to my TTT post for this week: http://captivatedreader.blogspot.com/2017/03/top-ten-tuesday-ten-authors-i-cant.html

    1. I live in southern England. I’m sure there are book festivals nearby – but believe it or not I never even thought about that! I never really even knew about those until recently!

  2. Um. I have met J K Rowling. I’m very awed by what she has achieved in writing, publishing and media. Her charity foundation and political views are admirable. But she was very rude and abrupt (and, no, we weren’t hassling her for autographs or anything.) She got really miffed when one of my crew called her “Ms Rowling” to rhyme with “howling”! Then again, context is everything, I suppose. She was one of my passengers. πŸ™‚
